Salute e un buon carattere socievole ed equilibrato saranno sempre i miei primi criteri quando penso ad una buona selezione, oltre ad un aspetto tipico, pienamente in standard della razza..
Il mio ideale è un cane "fit for function", cioè un toller atletico costruito in modo che possa svolgere con facilità il lavoro naturale per cui è stato selezionato, con una alta motivazione al lavoro e la tipica capacità di veloce apprendimento della razza, mantenendo nello stesso tempo un carattere equilibrato, senza ritrovarci con problemi di stress eccessivo, che a volte si possono osservare in alcune linee di sangue.
Tutti i nostri cuccioli crescono in casa con noi e saranno ben socializzati e preparati a tante situazioni che li aspetta nella vita quotidiana.
I cuccioli faranno molte esperienze diverse, conosceranno nuovi loghi, verranno in passeggiata e gita in auto con noi. Avranno conosciuto molte tipologie di persone, bambini, altri animali, e avranno fatto esperienza con diversi stimoli, come oggetti, rumori, superficie, odori, tra altro conosceranno l'odore sia di volatile che di selvaggina.
Abbiamo effettuato i test genetici / DNA disponibili per la razza presso OFA come JADD, DEN, DM, Cleft Palate 1, CLPS, buff, occhi prcd - PRA + CEA presso Optigen, oltre ad altri esami e controlli, come per esempio la displasia dell'anca e gomito (HD/ED).
Un cucciolo Aemilias è per la vita, cediamo i nostri cuccioli soltanto a famiglie che possono offrirgli una vita attiva come pieno membro della famiglia, non cediamo cuccioli tenuti in box o solamente in giardino. Ribadisco che il toller è una razza di lavoro e ha bisogno di fare almeno un minimo di attività, come delle belle camminate, trekking, volentieri vi accompagneranno ovunque, amano il nuoto, e sono cani estremamente versatili per quasi tutte le discipline cinofilo sportive come per esempio riporto, ricerca, man trailing, obedience, dog dance, e agility.
I cuccioli saranno ceduti vaccinati e chippati, con pedigree ENCI /FCI.
Health and a good social being will always by top points when thinking about a good selection, furthermore my desire is a typical toller fully in breed standard.
My ideal will always be a "fit for function" dog, an atlethic dog which can effect the natural tasks for which the breed has been selected, with a good working drive and the typical fast learning capacity of the breed, maintaining at the same time a balanced character, without too many stress issues.
All our pups are grown up in the house with us and will be prepared for many circumstances of daily life. They will make many different experiences, such as walks in the nature, driving in the car, we will socialize them with different types of persons, children, other animals.
They will have known many types of rumours, objects, surfaces, scents, as well we will make some imprinting with cold game, in order to prepare them as well for a possible hunting career.
Our dogs have been tested at OFA for JADD, DEN, DM, Cleft Palate 1, CLPS, buff, eyes prcd - PRA + CEA with Optigen, further to the controls such as hips and elbows /dysplasie.
Please bare in mind that an Aemilias puppy is for lifetime and should be, at all effects, a real member of your family. If you are wanting to keep your puppy in a box or in your backyard, an Aemilias pup is not the right one for you.
Your toller will accompany you happily everywhere, as a working breed they love and need an active life and will love to go for walks in the nature, trekking tours, as well they need some mental activity and love to work. They learn extremely fast and are very versatile for many types of dog sports, such as retrieving, tracking, man trailing, obedience, dog dance or agility, just some example.
The puppies will be vaccinated (we use a reduced vaccination scheme) and microchipped and have aregular pedigree ENCI /FCI.
